Shashi Kant Sharma, Comptroller & Auditor General of India, has assumed the office as Member of the United Nations Board of Auditors for a six year term till June 2020. He took over the charge from Liu Jiayi, the Auditor General of the People’s Republic of China at the United Nations Headquarters at New York. Sharma is a 1976 batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre.
