Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for the fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, a flagship business and investment event that is expected to further strengthen the state’s journey towards becoming a trillion-dollar economy under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Building on the success of its previous editions, UPITS has emerged as a prominent platform for showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s products, services, technologies, innovations and entrepreneurial capabilities to national and international markets. The event is expected to create fresh opportunities for industries, MSMEs, startups, exporters and investors while enhancing the state’s global business footprint.

Strong Global Participation Expected

According to official estimates, more than 2,400 exhibitors are expected to participate in UPITS 2026. The event is also likely to attract over 550 international buyers from 85 countries, highlighting the growing global interest in Uttar Pradesh’s industrial and manufacturing ecosystem.

In addition, the trade show is expected to witness participation from over 1.5 lakh domestic B2B buyers and around 4.5 lakh visitors, making it one of the largest trade and business gatherings in the country.

Focus on Business Expansion and Investments

The event is expected to generate significant business activity across sectors. Officials estimate that more than 4,000 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) could be signed during the trade show, with a potential investment value exceeding ₹3,200 crore.

Furthermore, the exhibition is projected to generate business leads and enquiries worth over ₹13,500 crore, providing a substantial boost to the state’s MSMEs, One District One Product (ODOP) units, exporters and emerging enterprises.

Showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s Growth Story

Spread across an exhibition area of nearly 1.10 lakh square metres, UPITS 2026 will showcase the state’s industrial strengths, export potential, innovation ecosystem and investment-friendly policies. The event will also highlight key initiatives undertaken by the Yogi Adityanath government to promote manufacturing, entrepreneurship, exports and ease of doing business.

Officials believe the trade show will play a crucial role in connecting local enterprises with global markets, encouraging technology partnerships and attracting new investments into the state.

The Uttar Pradesh government views UPITS as a strategic platform to accelerate economic growth and position the state as a preferred destination for trade and investment. By bringing together businesses, investors, buyers and policymakers under one roof, the event is expected to contribute significantly to job creation, export growth and industrial development.

Officials said the trade show aligns closely with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of transforming Uttar Pradesh into a trillion-dollar economy, while strengthening the state’s position as a major contributor to India’s economic growth story.
