As part of the week-long Rajasthan Day celebrations, the state government organized the “Vikas and Sushasan Mahotsav” in Bhilwara on Friday. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma remotely laid the foundation stone and inaugurated multiple development projects amounting to Rs 10,000 crore, marking a significant step in the state’s progress.

Addressing the gathering in Bhilwara, renowned as the textile hub of Rajasthan, the Chief Minister reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He emphasized that his government is working diligently to establish Rajasthan as a leading state in terms of economic growth and social welfare.

Sharma highlighted the benefits of the “double-engine” governance model under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that it has accelerated the pace of development in Rajasthan. He underscored the government’s focus on improving the lives of various sections of society, including farmers, workers, students, and women. The CM also reiterated his commitment to promoting industrial growth and employment opportunities.

“Our focused efforts on attracting industrial investment are yielding promising results. Through the Rising Rajasthan Global Investors Summit 2024, held in December last year, we secured investment proposals worth Rs 35 lakh crore. We are now actively working to implement the agreements signed with investors,” Sharma announced.

During the event, the Chief Minister issued several directives aimed at enhancing urban development. These included simplifying the fire No Objection Certificate (NOC) process, establishing District Mineral Foundation Trusts (DMFTs) in newly created districts, and initiating the Harit Aravalli Development Project to promote environmental sustainability.

Another significant announcement made at the function was the launch of the “Rajasthan Patrakar Swasthya Yojana,” a healthcare scheme designed specifically for journalists. This initiative was previously introduced in the revised state budget and is intended to provide comprehensive health benefits to media professionals across the state.
