Sagar Singh Kalsi, a 2010-batch AGMUT cadre IPS officer, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Power on a lateral shift basis.
Tenure Till February 2030
Kalsi will hold the position for a tenure up to February 23, 2030, as per the appointment order.
Shift to Ministry of Power
The appointment brings Kalsi into the Ministry of Power in a Director-level role. He will take up responsibilities associated with the ministry’s work and ongoing programmes during his central deputation.
AGMUT Cadre IPS Officer
A member of the 2010 AGMUT cadre, Kalsi has served in the police administration and is now moving to a central government assignment in the power sector.
