The Uttar Pradesh government has allocated an additional ₹1,014.11 crore to the Revenue Department under the Supplementary Budget 2026-27, giving a significant push to disaster management, administrative infrastructure and public service delivery across the state.
A major share of the additional allocation has been earmarked for strengthening disaster preparedness, while funds have also been provided for the construction and expansion of key government buildings at the district and tehsil levels.
Major Allocation for Disaster Mitigation
Of the total additional budget, ₹739 crore has been allocated to the State Disaster Mitigation Fund (SDMF). The fund will support disaster preparedness, risk reduction measures and strengthen the state’s ability to respond to natural calamities more effectively.
The allocation reflects the government’s focus on improving resilience against disasters while ensuring better protection for people and public infrastructure.
New Integrated Collectorates to Improve Public Services
The supplementary budget also includes funds for the construction of new integrated collectorate complexes aimed at improving administrative efficiency and citizen services.
A new integrated collectorate-cum-non-residential building will be developed at Bahjoi, the headquarters of Sambhal district. In addition, ₹140.65 crore has been sanctioned for constructing a new non-residential integrated collectorate building in Varanasi.
These modern administrative complexes are expected to provide better facilities for government departments while making public services more accessible.
Strengthening Government Infrastructure
Apart from the collectorate projects, the state government has approved ₹85 crore as a one-time allocation for the construction, expansion, reconstruction and strengthening of residential government buildings across divisions, districts and tehsils.

The initiative aims to improve infrastructure available for government officials and enhance administrative functioning throughout the state.
