In a significant administrative decision, the Government of India has approved the permanent absorption of Shalabh Goel as Managing Director of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation, strengthening leadership at a time when regional rapid transit projects are gaining momentum.
Transition from Railways to NCRTC
Goel, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers (IRSEE), has been formally relieved from his parent cadre. Strengthening Regional Transit Leadership
The appointment comes following a recommendation from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and is seen as a strategic move to ensure continuity and focused leadership within NCRTC.
Focus on Expanding Rapid Rail Projects
