In a significant administrative development, senior bureaucrat Narendra Bhooshan, a 1992-batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Land Resources under the Ministry of Rural Development.
Bhooshan brings with him over three decades of rich administrative experience spanning infrastructure development, public service delivery, and governance reforms. Over the years, he has held several key positions at both the state and central levels, where he has contributed to policy design, institutional strengthening, and implementation of large-scale development programmes. His work has consistently reflected a strong focus on efficiency, transparency, and citizen-centric governance.
