Andhra Pradesh

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Calibo, a B2B technology firm specializing in data and artificial intelligence, to strengthen AI innovation and build a skilled workforce across the state.

The collaboration focuses on promoting AI-driven solutions for governance and expanding AI education across higher education institutions, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a growing hub for artificial intelligence and digital innovation.

AI Academy to Train Students Across 50+ Institutions

As part of the agreement, the Calibo AI Academy will be introduced in more than 50 higher education institutions in partnership with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC).

The initiative will integrate AI-focused learning into academic programmes, helping students gain industry-relevant skills. It will also support faculty development, strengthen institutional innovation capabilities, and improve employability for graduates in emerging technology sectors.

AI Innovation Sandbox for Governance Solutions

The second MoU involves collaboration with the Real Time Governance Society (RTGS) to establish the Calibo AI Innovation Sandbox. This secure platform will allow developers and government teams to design, test, and validate AI-powered solutions before deploying them in real public-service environments.

The sandbox will enable controlled experimentation for AI use cases related to governance, citizen services, and data-driven decision-making.

Vision for AI-Led Growth

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the partnership reflects the state’s vision to build AI capabilities at scale and encourage responsible innovation.

He emphasized that strengthening AI education and creating a secure environment to test AI applications will help transform ideas into impactful solutions for governance and public services.

Strengthening AI Ecosystem in the State

Under the collaboration, Calibo will also support the design of AI curriculum frameworks aligned with industry practices and deliver training programmes through blended learning models. Its Digital Business Innovation Methodology will guide institutions and government agencies in developing practical AI solutions.

Calibo’s Founder and Executive Chairman, Raj Vattikuti, noted that the partnership will help institutions and enterprises develop real-world AI capabilities and accelerate innovation.
