Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav highlighted the state’s growing focus on artificial intelligence (AI) as a driver of economic transformation while addressing stakeholders at the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. He outlined a multi-sector roadmap to integrate AI into agriculture, healthcare, digital infrastructure, and innovation ecosystems, positioning the state as an emerging hub for technology-led development.

Emphasising agriculture as the backbone of Madhya Pradesh’s economy, CM Yadav said AI tools would be deployed to enhance farm productivity, enable early detection of crop diseases, and support data-driven decision-making for farmers. The state, a major producer of wheat, paddy, and soybean, aims to use advanced analytics and predictive technologies to strengthen crop protection and improve yields while aligning with national efforts to modernise the agricultural sector.

In healthcare, the government plans to leverage AI for early diagnosis, treatment planning, and improved service delivery, particularly in rural and underserved areas. The Chief Minister also announced initiatives to expand IT parks in major as well as tier-2 cities, creating employment opportunities for youth and attracting technology investments. These developments are intended to build a strong digital economy supported by skilled talent and innovation-driven enterprises.

Madhya Pradesh is also positioning itself as a destination for AI-enabled data centres. Highlighting the state’s availability of land and water resources, CM Yadav invited companies to invest in large-scale digital infrastructure projects. Discussions with global technology leaders focused on public-private partnerships, GPU support for startups, sovereign AI deployments, and energy-efficient data centre solutions, including immersion-cooled technologies and digital twin applications.

During the summit, three strategic MoUs were signed through the Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation with Jenspark AI, Inviscid AI, and Sarvam AI to advance AI infrastructure, governance solutions, and sovereign AI services. Submer Technologies also received a letter of intent to establish energy-efficient AI data centres in the state.
