National AI Summit

Delhi, 20 February 2026: The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) and ELETS Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the sidelines of the AI Impact Summit 2026, formalising their collaboration to organise the National AI Summit on Water 2026 in Bengaluru.

The Summit will serve as a national platform focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital technologies, and data-driven solutions in water and wastewater management.

The National AI Summit on Water 2026 is expected to bring together 400+ senior stakeholders, including policymakers, water utility leaders, technology providers, startups, multilateral agencies, researchers, and industry experts from across the country and overseas.

The Summit aims to catalyse the adoption of AI-driven solutions to address critical sectoral challenges such as non-revenue water reduction, energy optimisation, asset intelligence, climate resilience, water quality monitoring, cybersecurity, and sustainable service delivery, while aligning with flagship national initiatives including Digital India, Smart Cities Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, and AMRUT 2.0.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ram Prasath Manohar V., Chairman, BWSSB, said that the partnership reflects BWSSB’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to transform into a Utility of the Future, ensuring efficiency, resilience, and citizen-centric service delivery.

Key focus areas of the Summit will include AI-enabled smart operations, digital twins, water loss management, energy-positive treatment systems, data governance, ethical AI, and innovative financing and PPP models. The event will also feature a dedicated AI & Water Technology Expo, keynote sessions, panel discussions, and structured networking engagements.

With this collaboration, BWSSB and ELETS aim to position Bengaluru as a national hub for AI-led innovation in water and wastewater management, contributing meaningfully to India’s long-term water security and sustainability goals.
