In a significant administrative overhaul ahead of the 2025 Assembly elections, the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government has transferred six IAS officers, five IPS officers, 102 Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) officers, and two Bihar Police Service officers. The General Administrative Department (GAD) and the Home Department issued the transfer notifications late Sunday evening.
