In a sweeping administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government on Monday night transferred 14 IAS officers, including the collectors of Indore, Jabalpur, Katni, Barwani, and Agar Malwa. The move came just hours after the transfer of 20 IPS officers, signaling a major overhaul in the state’s civil and police services.
The General Administration Department (GAD), with approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), issued the transfer orders.
One of the most significant changes came in the Public Relations Department. Dr. Sudam Pandharinath Khade (IAS:2006:MP) has been relieved as Public Relations Commissioner and Secretary with additional charge of MD, Madhya Pradesh Madhyam. He will now serve as Commissioner, Indore Division. Deepak Kumar Saxena (IAS:2010:MP), previously Collector of Jabalpur, has been appointed as OSD-cum-Commissioner, Public Relations, Bhopal with additional charge as MD, Madhya Pradesh Madhyam.
Key reassignments include Deepak Singh (IAS:2007:MP) moving from Indore Division to the MP State Election Commission, Abhishek Singh (IAS:2009:MP) taking charge as Secretary, Home Department, and Ashish Singh (IAS:2010:MP) stepping in as OSD-cum-Commissioner, Ujjain Division with Simhastha Mela responsibilities.

Five new collectors have been appointed in major districts: Shivam Verma (Indore), Raghavendra Singh (Jabalpur), Ashish Tiwari (Katni), Jayati Singh (Barwani), and Preeti Yadav (Agar Malwa).
Other notable transfers include Dileep Kumar Yadav (IAS:2014) to Commissioner, Indore Municipal Corporation, and Ghuncha Sanobar (IAS:2015) to Deputy Secretary, Secretariat.
