In a minor reshuffle of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) cadre, the Tamil Nadu government has transferred and appointed seven senior officials to new positions. The changes were formalized through an official order issued by Chief Secretary N. Muruganandam.
Key Changes at the Tamil Nadu State Election Commission (TNSEC)
- P. Sri Venkata Priya – Appointed as Secretary, TNSEC. She was earlier serving as Additional Secretary, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department. She replaces K. Balasubramaniam.
- K. Balasubramaniam – Transferred and posted as Government Additional Secretary, Public and Rehabilitation Department.
Other Senior Transfers and Appointments
- Sajjansingh R. Chavan – Posted as Special Secretary, Planning and Development Department.
- Sharanya Ari – Appointed as Additional Director, Directorate of Social Welfare.
