In a fresh administrative move, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred eight IAS officers following the recent reshuffling of five IPS officers. The reassignments cover several crucial portfolios, underscoring the state’s push to streamline governance and accelerate project implementation.
Rakesh Kumar Singh, who previously served as Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been appointed CEO of the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. He will also hold additional charge as CEO of the Noida International Airport—two pivotal roles linked to the state’s infrastructure push.
Alok Kumar III, currently Principal Secretary of Planning & Programme Implementation, retains his current role while also assuming responsibilities as Principal Secretary for Reorganisation Coordination, Language, National Integration, and General Administration. He has additionally been named Director of the Hindi Institute.
In the Home Department:
- Yogesh Kumar, Special Secretary, has been appointed Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies.
- Dr. Heera Lal, who was earlier serving in the cooperative sector, has been designated as Secretary, National Integration Department.
- Anamika Singh, Secretary of Women Welfare, Child Development & Nutrition, has been given dual responsibilities as CEO of the UP Clean Air Management Project Authority and Secretary of Forest, Environment & Climate Change.
Other key appointments include:
- Bhawani Singh Khangarot, who was awaiting a posting, now takes charge as Special Secretary, Revenue Department.
- Sanya Chhabra, formerly MD of the UP Tourism Development Corporation, has been transferred as Chief Development Officer, Hardoi.

In a parallel move, the state government has also transferred 15 PCS officers, further reinforcing the administrative reshuffle across multiple tiers of governance.
