The Uttar Pradesh government on 4th March transferred 4 IAS officers and 41 PCS officers with immediate effect.
Among the key changes, 2010 batch IAS officer Bhawani Singh Khangarot, previously Managing Director of Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, has been appointed as Director (Administration) in the Medical and Health Services department.
2017 batch IAS officer Riya Kejriwal, who served as Additional Commissioner of State Tax, has been named the Managing Director of Madhyanchal Vidyut Nigam. Significant changes in the Joint Magistrate cadre include 2021 batch IAS officer Sarthak Agarwal, formerly posted in Varanasi, now taking charge as the Chief Development Officer (CDO) of Basti. Meanwhile, 2020 batch IAS officer Dr. Pooja Gupta, earlier Joint Magistrate of Ghaziabad, has been appointed as the CDO of Chandauli.
