Seema Jindal appointed Head of Public Affairs, Telecom (India) at Truecaller

Truecaller, a leading global communications platform, has appointed Seema Jindal as its new Head of Public Affairs, Telecom, in India. Jindal brings over 25 years of experience from her tenure at Airtel, where she held pivotal roles in regulatory, interconnection, and compliance management. Most recently, she served as the Head of Regulatory Affairs for DLT, DTH, Teleports, and VSAT, along with overseeing Compliances & Audit for Regulatory matters.

In her new role at Truecaller, Jindal will collaborate with key government bodies, including the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY), to support the company’s growth and innovation in India.

Expressing her excitement, Jindal said, “I am thrilled to join Truecaller and look forward to enhancing the company’s commitment to transparency and innovation while ensuring it remains a leader in regulatory compliance.”

Kari Krishnamurthy, Chief Commercial Officer at Truecaller, welcomed the appointment, noting Jindal’s regulatory expertise will strengthen the company’s relations with key stakeholders in India, Truecaller’s largest and most crucial market.
