
In a significant reshuffle within the police department, the Chhattisgarh government has transferred five IPS officers, aiming to enhance administrative reforms and improve operations across various battalions and police forces.
Key appointments include Arvind Kumar Kujur, now the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) at the Police Headquarters (PHQ) in Raipur. Previously serving in the 3rd Battalion of the Chhattisgarh Special Armed Forces (CSAF) in Amleshwar, Durg, Kujur will now be responsible for law and order at the state level from Raipur.
Dharmendra Singh Chhawai has been moved to the 15th Battalion of CSAF in Bijapur, a Naxal-affected area requiring heightened security measures. He formerly served as Assistant Inspector General of Police at the Raipur PHQ.

Shweta Rajmani has been appointed to the 19th Battalion in Bastar, another Naxalite-sensitive region, after her service in the 17th Battalion of CSAF in Kabirdham. Her focus will be on improving strategic security arrangements in Bastar.

Udaykiran has been transferred to the 9th Battalion of CSAF in Dantewada, another challenging area in terms of security. He was previously an Assistant Inspector General of Police at the Raipur PHQ.

Finally, Manoj Khilari will take charge of the 2nd Battalion of CSAF in Bilaspur, focusing on enhancing administrative control and security. He previously handled VIP security in Mana.
The transfers are seen as strategic moves by the state to bolster security and administrative efficiency in sensitive regions.
