Appointments (GoI): Amrendra Pratap Singh appointed Director DPIIT, Check List

The centre has notified new appointments and recommendations across ministries in a fresh bureaucratic development.

  • Amrendra Pratap Singh (ISS: 2010) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, with his tenure set to last until October 25, 2028.
  • Sabiha Rizvi (IRS IT: 2009) has been appointed Director of the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Delhi, for a five-year term.
  • Amol Madukar Ket (IRS C&IT: 2008) has been appointed Director in the Department of Promotion of Industry & Internal Trterm, a position that will last until June 27, 2026.
  • Govind Singhal has been empanelled for promotion to the grade of Commissioner of Income Tax (CIT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax).
  • Agam Mittal (CSS cadre) has been appointed as Additional PS to the Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shripad Naik.
  • Bharat Maheshwari (IFoS: 2014: UT) has been appointed as the Private Secretary to the Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, Harish Malhotra, at the level of Deputy Secretary, with a tenure until June 26, 2026.
  • Alkesh Uttam (IRS IT: 2013) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, for three years, three months, and nine days at the Deputy Secretary level.
  • Narayan Ramchandra Gambhir has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and New & Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, at the level of Director.
  • Priya Ranjan (IFoS: 1998: RJ), Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, has been granted an ex-post facto extension of additional charge as Managing Director, National Horticulture Board, from September 23, 2023, to September 22, 2024.
  • Gopal Prasad (IES: 2001), Internal Financial Adviser, Heavy Water Board, Department of Atomic Energy, has been repatriated to his parent cadre.
  • The tenure of Ajay Kumar Garg (IAS: 2010: AGMUT), DCO/DCR, Delhi, has been extended until December 31, 2025, counting his central deputation from September 2, 2019.
  • Anant Swarup (IRPS: 1992), Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has been repatriated to his parent cadre.
  • The tenure of Anita Rupavataram (IRS IT: 2003), Director of the Office of the Custodian, Mumbai, under the Department of Financial Services, has been extended for one year until October 24, 2025.
  • Manoj Kumar, General Manager (Jaduguda Group of Mines & Mill), Uranium Corporation of India Ltd. (UCIL), has been appointed as Director (Technical) at UCIL, with tenure until February 28, 2029.
  • Praveen Kumar, Executive Director, Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), has been appointed as Managing Director of DFCCIL, with tenure until September 30, 2026.
  • Anil Kumar Jadli, Chief General Manager, NTPC Ltd., has been appointed Director (Human Resources) at NTPC, with tenure until June 30, 2029.

  • Sivakumar V Vepakomma, Chief General Manager, NTPC Green Energy Limited, NTPC Ltd., has been appointed Director (Power System) at Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), with tenure until August 31, 2028.
  • M Suresh, Member (ANS), AAI, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chairman, AAI, for three months starting August 20, 2024.
