In a significant reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has assigned new roles to 14 IAS officers at the Additional Secretary level and temporarily upgraded the posts of four officers to Additional Secretary.

New Appointments:

1. Nidhi Chhibber (IAS: 1994: CG): Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog.
2. T K Anil Kumar (IAS: 1995: KN): Additional Secretary, Department of Rural Development.
3. Dheeraj Sahu (IAS: 1996: UP): Managing Director, Small Farmers’ Agri-Business Consortium.
4. Maneesh Garg (IAS: 1996: HP): Deputy Election Commissioner, Election Commission of India.
5. Manisha Saxena (IAS: 1996: AGMUT): Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training.
6. Caralyn Khongwar Deshmukh (IAS: 1996: MP) is the additional Secretary of the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.
7. Rabindra Kumar Agarwal (IAS: 1997: KL): Additional Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation.
8. Puneet Agarwal (IAS: 1998: TR) is the Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
9. Amit Singh Negi (IAS: 1999: UK): Additional Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office.
10. Mugdha Sinha (IAS: 1999: RJ): Director General (Tourism), Ministry of Tourism.
11. Amandeep Garg (IAS: 1999: HP) is the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change.
12. Ajay Bhadoo (IAS: 1999: GJ): Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce.
13. Ashutosh Agnihotri (IAS: 1999: AM): Additional Secretary, Department of Home.
14. N Gulzar (IAS: 1999: AP): Additional Secretary, Department of Telecommunications.
15. Ashish Chatterjee (IAS: 1999: TN) is the Managing Director of the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India.
16. Ashok Kumar Singh (IAS: 1999: KL): Director General, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation.

1. Bhawna Garg (IAS: 1999: PB): DDG, UIDAI, RO, Chandigarh.
2. Puneet Yadav (IAS: 1999: WB) is the Additional Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances.
3. M Beena (IAS: 1999: KL): Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles.
4. Subodh Yadav (IAS: 1999: KN) is the Additional Secretary of the Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.
