DMRC appoints Manuj Singhal as Director of Infrastructure

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has appointed Manuj Singhal as the new Director (Infrastructure).


Singhal is an Indian Engineering Service (IES) officer of the 1994 batch.

“In his capacity as Director (Infrastructure), Manuj will be in charge of Maintenance of infrastructure including Civil, Electrical, Signal, AFC, Telecom, Rolling Stock, Solar Power etc in DMRC,” an official statement issued by DMRC read.

He began working with DMRC in 2006 and held the position of Executive Director (Rolling Stock/Project) before assuming this position.


Singhal contributed significantly to redefining the ‘Energy Mix of DMRC’, executing Electrical Works for the Kochi Metro Project (with D.C. Traction system), and finalizing the Procurement of Lifts and Escalators on a ‘Lease basis’ for the DMRC Phase IV project.

He has published numerous technical papers in National and International Journals/Conferences.
