HUDCO and SITCO Sign MoU for Sustainable Development of Surat Transportation Hub

The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO), a Navratna CPSE under the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, has taken a significant step towards sustainable development. HUDCO sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Surat Integrated Transportation Development Corporation Limited (SITCO) on May 09, 2024, in New Delhi at HUDCO Bhawan.

The MoU, inked by Sanjay Kulshrestha (CMD, HUDCO) and Manoj Garg (MD, SITCO), witnessed the presence of senior officials from Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) and HUDCO. This collaboration aims to bolster cooperation and collaboration, leveraging respective strengths for the construction and development of the Surat Multi-Modal Transportation Hub. The hub will be built on land allocated by the Ministry of Railways and the Government of Gujarat.

Moreover, the MoU opens avenues for consultancy, capacity building, and other technical assistance from HUDCO. This strategic partnership underscores a shared commitment to sustainable urban development.
