
In a recent development, the government of Odisha has announced new postings for four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across the state.
Samarth Verma, a member of the 2011 batch and currently serving as the Additional Chief Administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration in Puri, has been entrusted with additional responsibilities. He is now appointed as the Additional Secretary in the Public Works Department, alongside his existing role.
Vineet Bhardwaj, who belongs to the 2012 batch and is serving as the Collector & District Magistrate of Cuttack, is set to assume a new role. He will now serve as the Director-cum-Additional Secretary in the Drinking Water & Sanitation, Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.

Parul Patawari, a member of the 2015 batch and currently holding the position of Collector & District Magistrate of Jagatsinghpur, has been assigned a new responsibility. She will now serve as the State Project Director at the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) in Bhubaneswar.

Dr. Subhankar Mohapatra, from the 2018 batch, has been designated as the Director of Rural Development, a position equivalent to Deputy Secretary.

In addition to these changes, two more officers have been appointed to new roles. Arindam Dakua and Anupam Saha, both from the 2011 and 2012 batches respectively, have been appointed as the new District Collectors of Cuttack and Jagatsinghpur.
