Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Uttar Pradesh Government has transferred 7 IAS officers across various departments in the state. Among the changes, a new District Magistrate (DM) has been appointed in Firozabad.

Ujjwal Kumar, who previously served as the DM of Firozabad, has been reassigned to the position of Special Secretary MSME. Taking his place, Ramesh Ranjan, the Mission Director of Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, has been designated as the new DM of Firozabad. Additionally, Arun Prakash, formerly the Special Secretary MSME, will now assume the role of Special Secretary Urban Development.

Gaurav Verma, who held the position of Special Secretary Youth Welfare, has been reassigned as the Special Secretary of Secretariat Administration. Sheshnath, the Special Secretary of Sugarcane Development, has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary of Public Works. Isha Priya, previously serving as the Additional Registrar Cooperative, has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Special Secretary Tourism. Lastly, Atal Rai, the Special Secretary of Food and Logistics, will now serve as the Director of Panchayati Raj.
