In a recent development, the Maharashtra government has issued transfer orders dated February 5, 2024, for several IAS officers, reassigning their roles across various divisions in the state.

The following appointments have been made:

Saurabh Rao (IAS:MH:2003), formerly Divisional Commissioner of Pune Division, Pune, has been appointed as Commissioner of Co-Operation and Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, Pune.

Anil M. Kawade (IAS:MH:2003), previously serving as Commissioner of Co-Operation and Registrar of Co-Operative Societies in Pune, has been reassigned as Commissioner of Sugar in Pune.

Anil Patil (IAS:MH:2012), who was Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Gondia, has been designated as Managing Director of Haffkine Bio-Pharma Corporation in Mumbai.

D.K.Khillari (IAS:MH:2013), former Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Satara, has been appointed as Director of Other Backward Bahujan Kalyan in Pune.

Rahul Gupta (IAS:MH:2017), previously Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Dharashiv has given additional responsibility of Joint Managing Director of MAHADISCOM in Chatrapatti Sambhaji Nagar.

Muruganantham M (IAS:MH:2020), who held the position of Project Officer at ITDP and Assistant Collector at Chandrapur Sub Division in Chandrapur, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Gondia.

Yashni Nagarajan (IAS:MH:2020), formerly Project Officer at ITDP in Pandharkawada and Assistant Collector at Kelapur Sub Division in Yavatmal, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad in Satara.
