3 Senior IAS of AGMUT Cadre transferred, Dr Sharat Chauhan made Chief Secretary Puducherry

In a recent administrative move, the Central Government has implemented minor transfers of three senior IAS officers affecting key positions within the AGMUT Cadre. The reshuffle includes significant changes in leadership roles across various regions.


Rajeev Verma (IAS 1992 AGMUT Cadre): Formerly serving as the Chief Secretary of Puducherry, Rajeev Verma has been reassigned to serve as the Advisor to the Administrator in Chandigarh.

Dr Sharat Chauhan (IAS 1994 AGMUT Cadre): Dr. Sharat Chauhan, hailing from the AGMUT cadre and previously stationed in Arunachal Pradesh, has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Puducherry.

Naveen Kr Chaudhary (IAS 1994 AGMUT Cadre): Naveen Kr Chaudhary, also from the AGMUT cadre, has been transferred from Mizoram to Delhi, signifying a shift in administrative responsibilities.
