Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao

In a minor administrative reorganisation in Telangana, the state government led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has undertaken the transfer and posting of three IAS officers.

Ms. P. Katayani Devi, a dedicated officer currently serving as Officer on Special Duty to Municipal Minister K.T. Rama Rao, has been appointed as the new Director of Mines and Geology, succeeding D. Ronald Rose, who was previously holding the position on a Full Additional Charge basis. Notably, Ms. Katayani is a non-state civil service officer of Telangana and has recently been inducted into the prestigious IAS cadre.

In another move, IAS officer Hemanta Keshav Patil from the 2019 batch, who has been serving as the Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district, is now being transferred and assigned to the post of Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Nalgonda district. He will be taking over from Khushboo Gupta, an IAS officer also from the 2019 batch, who, in turn, has been posted as the new Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Adilabad district.
