In a significant administrative reshuffle, the state government of Maharashtra, under the leadership of Eknath Shinde, executed a series of transfers and postings affecting more than 41 IAS officers on Friday.

Among these changes, Rajendra Shankar Kshirsagar, an IAS officer from the 2011 batch, has been appointed as the new collector of Mumbai. He will be taking over from his previous role as Joint Secretary in Chief Secretary Manoj Saunik’s office.

Replacing Mr. Kshirsagar as the new Joint Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s office is Makrand Deshmukh, a 1999 batch IAS officer. Until this new posting, Mr. Deshmukh served as Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) in the Konkan division.

Additionally, Sanjay Chavan, an IAS officer from the 2011 batch and the current Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Parishad in Kolhapur, has been reassigned as the Additional Controller of Stamps in Mumbai.

Tukaram Mundhe, a 2005 batch IAS officer, has undergone a transfer and will now serve as the Secretary in the Agriculture Department. This move comes after his recent position as the Secretary of the Marathi Language Department, where he was posted just a month ago.

Furthermore, Sanjay Khandare, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been entrusted with the role of Principal Secretary of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department in Mantralaya.
The changes also extend to district collectors. Gangatharan D, a 2013 batch IAS officer who previously served as the Nashik District Collector, has now been appointed as the Joint Commissioner in the BMC, succeeding incumbent Ajit Kumbhar.

Similarly, Nima Arora, an IAS officer from the 2014 batch and the former District Collector of Akola, will now take on the role of Director in the Information Technology Department in Mumbai.

Lastly, Shanmugarajan S, another 2013 batch IAS officer who served as the District Collector of Washim, has been designated as the Additional Development Commissioner (Industries).

In addition to these transfers, Vijay Chandrakant Rathod, a 2014 batch IAS officer, has been assigned as the Joint Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), transitioning from his former role as Jalna’s District Collector.

3. Shri Sanjay Chavan (IAS: MH: 2011), previously the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Kolhapur, has been appointed as the Additional Controller of Stamp in Mumbai.
4. Shri Ayush Prasad (IAS: MH: 2015), the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Pune, has been posted as the new Collector of Jalgaon.
5. Smt. Bhuvaneswari S (IAS: MH: 2015), who served as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Dhule, has been reassigned as the Collector of Washim.
6. Shri. Ajit Kumbhar (IAS: MH: 2015), the Joint Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, has been appointed as the new Collector of Akola.
7. Dr. Shrikrishnanath B. Panchal (IAS: MH: 2016), previously the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal, has been assigned as the Collector of Jalna.
8. Dr. Pankaj Ashiya (IAS: MH: 2016), the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Jalgaon, has been posted as the Collector of Yavatmal.
9. Shri. Kumar Ashirwad (IAS: MH: 2016), the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Gadchiroli, has been appointed as the new Collector of Solapur.
10. Shri Abhinav Goel (IAS: MH: 2016), who served as the Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad, Latur, has been reassigned as the Collector of Dhule.
11. Shri. Saurabh Katiyar (IAS: MH: 2016), the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Akola, has been appointed as the new Collector of Amravati.
12. Smt. Trupti Dhodmise (IAS: MH: 2019), previously the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector in Dhule, has been assigned as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Sangli.
13. Shri. Ankit (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector in Aheri, Gadchiroli, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Jalgaon.
14. Shri. Shubham Gupta (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector in Attapadi SDO, Po. Bharmragad, ITDP, Gadchiroli, has been reassigned as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Dhule.
15. Smt. Minal Karanwal (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector of ITDP, Nandurbar, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Nanded.
16. Dr. Mainak Ghosh (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer of ITDP, Gadchiroli-cum-Assistant Collector of Gadchiroli, has been posted as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Yavatmal.
17. Smt. Manisha Manikrao Awhale (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector of ITDP, Solapur, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Solapur.
18. Shri. Sawan Kumar (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector of Dharni, ITDP, Amaravati, has been reassigned as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Nandurbar.
19. Shri. Anmol Sagar (IAS: MH: 2019), the Assistant Collector of Deori Sub Division, Gondia, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Latur.
20. Smt. Ayushi Singh (IAS: MH: 2019), the Project Officer-cum-Assistant Collector of Jawhar, ITDP, Palghar, has been reassigned as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Gadchiroli.
21. Smt. Vaishnavi B. (IAS: MH: 2019), the Assistant Collector of Tumsar Sub Division, Bhandara, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Akola.
22. Smt. Pavneet Kaur (IAS: MH: 2014), who served as the Collector of Amravati, has been posted as the Director of GSDA, Pune.
23. Shri. Gangatharan D (IAS: MH: 2013), the former Collector of Nashik, has been reassigned as the Joint Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
24. Shri. Amol Jagannath Yedge (IAS: MH: 2014), the former Collector of Yavatmal, has been posted at the Maharashtra State Council of Educational Research and Training (MSCERT), Pune.
25. Shri. Shanmugarajan S (IAS: MH: 2013), the former Collector of Washim, has been reassigned as the Additional Development Commissioner (Industries) in Mumbai.

29. Shri Santosh C. Patil (IAS: MH:2013), who was serving as the Joint Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister, has been assigned the role of Chief Executive Officer at Z.P., Kolhapur.
30. Shri R.K.Gawade (IAS: MH:2011), the former Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Nandurbar, has now taken charge as the Collector of Parbhani.
31. Smt. Aanchal Goyal (IAS: MH:2014), who previously served as the Collector of Parbhani, has been transferred to the position of Additional Municipal Commissioner at Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur.
32. Shri Sanjay Khandare (IAS: MH:1996) has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Water Supply and Sanitation Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
33. Shri Tukaram Mundhe (IAS: MH:2005), who was serving as the Secretary of Marathi Bhasha Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, has been reassigned as the Secretary (AD) of Agriculture and ADF Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
34. Shri. Jalaj Sharma (IAS: MH:2014), the former Collector of Dhule, has been posted as the Collector of Nashik.
35. Dr. A.N.Karanjkar (IAS: MH:2009), who previously served as the Commissioner of ESIS, Mumbai, has been appointed as the Municipal Commissioner of Nashik Municipal Corporation, Nashik.
36. Shri R. S. Chavan (IAS: MH:2013), the Joint Secretary of Revenue & Forest Department, Mantralaya, Mumbai, has been assigned the role of Chief Executive Officer at Zilla Parishad, Pune.
37. Shri. Prithviraj B.P. (IAS: MH:2014), the former Collector of Latur, has been posted as the Chief Executive Officer of SMART City, Nagpur.
38. Shri. Ruchesh Jaivanshi (IAS: MH:2009) has been designated as the Chief Executive Officer of NRLM, Mumbai.
39. Shri.Milind Shambharkar (IAS: MH:2008), the Collector of Solapur, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana Society, State Health Insurance Society, Mumbai.
40. Shri Makrand Deshmukh (IAS: MH:9999), who was serving as the Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) of Konkan Division, Mumbai, has been transferred to the position of Joint Secretary at the Chief Secretary’s Office, Mantralaya, Mumbai.
41. Dr. B. N. Bastewad (IAS: MH:9999), the Chief General Manager (L&S) of MSRDC, Mumbai, has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Z.P., Raigad.
