Shivendra Nath, Senior General Manager at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has been chosen as the upcoming Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Engineering Projects (India) Ltd., a PSU operating under the Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel endorsed his candidacy for the position on Thursday.

Currently serving as the Senior General Manager at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a prominent PSU under the Department of Telecommunications, Shivendra Nath has an impressive track record of accomplishments in his career. His exceptional performance and leadership qualities stood out among four candidates who underwent interviews by the PESB selection panel on July 27. Notably, two candidates hailed from BSNL, while one each represented Engineering Projects (India) Limited and Indian Railways Service of Engineers.

As the CMD of Engineering Projects (India) Ltd., Shivendra Nath will hold the crucial responsibility of being the company’s Chief Executive. He will be directly accountable to the board and directors, assuming a pivotal role in driving the company towards achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters. With his extensive experience and expertise, Nath is poised to lead the PSU to new heights of success and efficiency.
