In a recent move, the Karnataka government has transferred 11 IAS officers, as stated in a notification by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR). Effective immediately, Kapil Mohan has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Tourism, relieving Pankaj Kumar Pandey from his concurrent charge. Umashankar SR has been assigned the role of Additional Chief Secretary in the Education Department (Higher Education), while Manjunatha Prasad N has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Cooperation Department.

V Anbu Kumar, the current KSRTC MD, has been posted as the Secretary of the Agriculture Department in Bengaluru, and Mohan Raj K P will take on the position of Secretary in the Horticulture and Sericulture Department, relieving Rajender Kumar Kataria from his concurrent charge. Dr. Richard Vincent D’Souza, the Secretary of the Planning, Programme Monitoring, and Statistics Department, has been transferred to the Commerce and Industries Department, assuming the role of Secretary.
Additionally, Girish R has been appointed as the Director of the Mines and Geology Department, relieving Priyanka Mary Francis of her concurrent charge. Karee Gowda has been assigned the role of Director at the Atal Jana Snehi Kendra, while Patil Yalagouda Shivanagouda, Deputy Commissioner of Tumkur District, has been transferred and appointed as the Commissioner of the Agriculture Department. Jagadeesha G has been posted as the Managing Director of the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation. Lastly, Dr. Mahesh M will assume the responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer and Executive Member at the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board.
