The Government of Bihar, on 28 April 2022, issued orders to realign the administrative lineup in the State. For this, the Government ordered a major reshuffle and assigned new posts to as many as 13 IAS officers in the state.
- Sanjay Kumar Sinha (IAS 1986-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as Chairman-cum-Member, Revenue Board. He will also take up the additional charge of Chief Enquiry Commissioner, General Administration Department.
- Vandana Kini (IAS 1989-Batch) has been moved to Bihar State Planning Board in the capacity of Chief Advisor.
- Mihir Kumar Singh (IAS 1993-Batch) will take over the post of Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department.
- Arvind Kumar Chaudhary (IAS 1995-Batch) gets the post of Principal Secretary, Labour Resources Department and additional charges of Examination Controller, Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) and Enquiry Commissioner, GAD.
- B Rajender (IAS 1995-Batch) will assume the post of Principal Secretary, General Administration Department and additional charges of Public Grievances and Mission Director, Bihar Administrative Reform Mission Society.
- Narmdeshwar Lal (IAS 1998-Batch) has been assigned the charge of Secretary, Sugarcane Industry.
- N Shravan Kumar (IAS 2000-Batch) has been given the post of Secretary, Animal and Fisheries Resources Department.
- Manish Kumar (IAS 2005-Batch) will take over the post of Divisional Commissioner, Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur.
- Gorakhnath (IAS 2006-Batch) has been made Divisional Commissioner, Purnia Division, Purnia. He also gets the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Kosi Division, Saharsa.
- Arif Ahsan (IAS 2017-Batch) has been assigned the charge of Municipal Commissioner, Purnia.
- Kumar Gaurav (IAS 2017-Batch) will take over the charge of Municipal Commissioner, Darbhanga.
- Yogesh Kumar Sagar (IAS 2017-Batch) will assume the post of Municipal Commissioner, Bhagalpur.
- Abhilasha Sharma (IAS 2017-Batch) has been given the post of Municipal Commissioner, Gaya.
