Minor Bureaucratic Rejig in West Bengal, 9 IAS Officers Transferred

With a recent order dated March 7, the Government of West Bengal moved a minor administrative reshuffle. Amidst the rejig, as many as nine IAS officers were transferred and appointed to new posts across the state.


1. Unice Rishin Ismail (IAS 2014-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as Additional District Magistrate, Purba Bardhaman.
2. Shiraz Daneshyar (IAS 2014-Batch) will take over the charge of Additional District Magistrate, Cooch Behar.
3. Manish Mishra (IAS 2015-Batch) has been transferred and assigned the charge of Additional District Magistrate, North 24 Parganas.
4. Tushar Singla (IAS 2015-Batch) has been given the post of Additional District Magistrate, Dakshin Dinajpur.
5. Rajesh (IAS 2017-Batch) will be assuming the charge of Additional District Magistrate, Purulia.
6. Sumant Sahay (IAS 2016-Batch) gets the charge of Additional District Magistrate, Murshidabad.
7. Suman Sourav Mohanty (IAS 2017-Batch) has been made Additional District Magistrate, Paschim Medinipur.
8. Srikanth Palli (IAS 2015-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Technical Education, Training & Skill Development Department.
9. Dhivya Loganathan (IAS 2015-Batch) has been assigned the post of Joint Secretary, Women and Child Development & Social Welfare Department.
