Ahead of Polls, Punjab Govt Shifts 5 IAS Officers to New Posts

Ahead of polls, the Government of Punjab issued an order on January 31, Monday, to move a minor reshuffle in the state’s administrative lineup. Amidst the reshuffle, four IAS officers have been transferred and assigned new charges.


1. Keshav Hingonia (IAS 2012-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala.

2. Amrit Singh (IAS 2014-Batch) has been transferred to Jalandhar. He will take over the charge of Chief Administrator at Jalandhar Development Authority.

3. Aaditya Dachalwal (IAS 2016-Batch) will assume the post of Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Ludhiana. Also, he has been assigned the additional charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Khanna.


4. Sagar Setia (IAS 2017-Batch) gets the charge of Additional Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Patiala. He will also take over the additional charge of Additional Commissioner (Excise), Patiala.
