Karnataka Govt Reshuffles Charges of 9 IPS Officers

The Government of Karnataka, on January 27, moved a minor bureaucratic reshuffle and issued orders to transfer and post as many as nine IPS officers across the state.

  1. Ravi D Channannavar (IPS 2008-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Managing Director (MD), Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation, Bengaluru.
  2. Bheemashankar S Guled (IPS 2012-Batch) has been shifted and assigned the charge of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), East, Bengaluru.
  3. Abdul Ahmad (IPS-SPS 2012-Batch) will be taking over the post of Director (Security and Vigilance), Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC).
  4. T Sreedhara (IPS-SPS 2012-Batch) will assume the charge of Superintendent of Police (SP), Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru.
  5. T P Shivakumar (IPS-SPS 2012-Batch) gets the post of SP, Chamarajanagar.
  6. Divya Sara Thomas (IPS 2013-Batch) has been made Deputy Secretary, Karnataka Police Academy.
  7. Dekka Kishore Babu (IPS 2013-Batch) has been transferred and posted as SP, Bidar.
  8. Arunangshu Giri (IPS 2015-Batch) has been transferred and given the charge of SP, Koppal.
  9. Nagesh D L (IPS 2015-Batch) has been assigned the post of SP, Crime Investigation Department (CID).
