The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal issued orders to reshuffle the police line up of the capital on October 8. As per the orders, the LG shifted 23 Indian Police Service officers and nine Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Island Police Service (DANIPS) officers to new posts.

1. Sanjay Baniwal (IPS 1989-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner of Police (CP), Perception Management and Media Cell.
2. Manish Kumar Agrawal (IPS 1996-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been shifted and appointed as Joint CP, Traffic.
3. S S Yadav (IPS 1997-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been made Joint CP, Operations.
4. Sanjay Kumar (IPS 1998-Batch of AGMUT cadre) gets the charge of Joint CP, RP Bhawan.
5. N S Bundela (IPS 1998-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been shifted and posted as Joint CP, Legal Division.
6. Meenu Choudhary (IPS 2000-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been made Joint CP, Southern Range.
7. Tusar Taba (IPS-SPS 2002-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been assigned the post of General Manager, Delhi Police Housing Corporation.
8. Prem Nath (IPS-SPS 2003-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been made Joint CP, Technology & Project Implementation & CyPAD.
9. Veenu Bansal (IPS 2004-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been given the charge of Additional CP, Central Police Control Room (CPCR) and the additional charge of Northern Range.
10. Parwaiz Ahmed (IPS-SPS 2004-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been transferred and appointed as Additional CP, P&L
11. A K Singh (IPS-SPS 2004-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been shifted and made Additional CP, Licensing.
12. Dheeraj Kumar (IPS-SPS 2004-Batch of AGMUT cadre) gets the charge of Additional CP, Crime.
13. Rishi Pal (IPS-SPS 2004-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been made Joint Director, Delhi Police Academy.
14. Michi Paku (IPS-SPS 2004-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been shifted and given the post of Additional CP, Armed Police.
15. Suman Goyal (IPS 2005-Batch of AGMUT cadre) gets the post of Additional CP, Traffic with the additional charge of Central Range.
16. A V Deshpande (IPS 2006-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been transferred and posted as Additional CP, Police Headquarters.
17. Mahesh Chand Bhardwaj (IPS-SPS 2007-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been made Additional CP, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
18. Deepak Purohit (IPS-SPS 2007-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been shifted and posted as Additional CP, Security.
19. Guriqbal Singh Sidhu (IPS 2012-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been made Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Licensing.
20. Amit Goel (IPS 2014-Batch of AGMUT cadre) has been transferred and posted as Additional DCP-I, South West District. He also gets the additional charge of DCP, Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
21. Rajesh Deo (IPS-SPS) has been shifted and posted as DCP, Crime and SPUWAC
22. Harendra Kumar Singh (IPS-SPS) has been made DCP, Railways. Singh also gets the additional charge of DCP, Legal Division.
23. Kumar Gyanesh (IPS-SPS) has been made Deputy Director, Delhi Police Academy.
24. Satyawan Gautam (DANIPS 2001-Batch) becomes DCP, Communication.
25. S K Singh (DANIPS 2001-Batch) has been made DCP, Traffic (Modernisation).
26. Vikram K Porwal (DANIPS 2001-Batch) has been shifted and assigned the charge of DCP, Supreme Court Security.
27. Krishan Kumar (DANIPS 2008-Batch) has been shifted and posted as Additional DCP-I, North-West District.
28. Pankaj Kumar (DANIPS 2009-Batch) gets the post of DCP, Operations.
29. Dhirendra Pratap Singh (DANIPS 2010-Batch) has been shifted and posted as Deputy Director, Delhi Police Academy.
30. Tanu Sharma (DANIPS 2011-Batch) has been made the Additional DCP, Commissioner of Police Secretariat.
31. Uma Shankar (DANIPS 2011-Batch) gets the charge of Additional DCP-II, Outer-North District.
32. Ravikant Kumar (DANIPS 2011-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Additional DCP-II, Rohini District.
