Following the government orders, Anindita Mitra has been assigned the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Union Territory Administration of Chandigarh. Mitra is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of 2007-Batch of Punjab Cadre.
With this posting, she has been moved on Inter-Cadre Deputation from Punjab cadre to AGMUT cadre (Chandigarh segment).
