Giving nod to a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state’s police line-up, the Government of West Bengal, on May 31, issued orders for transfers and postings of 52 IPS officers.

1. Dip Narayan Goswami has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Special Task Force (STF).
2. Praveen Kumar Tripathi has been posted as DIG, Malda Range.
3. Neeloo Sherpa Chakraborty has been assigned the post of DIG, State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB).
4. Ranendra Nath Banerjee has been given the charge of DIG, IB.
5. Niladri Chakraborty has been appointed as DIG, Fire Services.
6. V Solomon Nesakumar will take over as Joint Commissioner of Police, STF, Kolkata.
7. Prasun Bandhopadhyay will assume the post of DIG, Barasat Range.
8. Kunal Aggarwal has been posted as OCW (officer on compulsory waiting), West Bengal Police Department.
9. Anoop Jaiswal gets the post of DIG, Raiganj Range.
10. Syed Waquar Raza becomes Joint Commissioner of Police (O), Kolkata.
11. Sudheer Kumar Neelakantam has been made Joint Commissioner of Police, SB, Security, Kolkata.
12. Meeraj Khalid will take over as DIG, CID, Operations.
13. Amitava Barma gets the charge of DIG, Traffic.
14. Arindam Dutta Chowdhury has been appointed as DIG, Enforcement Branch (EB).
15. Kankar Prosad Barui has been given the charge of DIG, Telecommunication.
16. Joy Biswas has been appointed as DIG, Provisioning.
17. Shyam Singh will assume the post of DIG, Midnapore Range.
18. Subrata Gangopadhyay has been made DIG/Member Secretary, West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB).
19. Nilanjan Biswas will take over as DIG (Border), IB.
20. Biswajit Ghosh has been made Superindent of Police (SP), Jhargram PD.
21. Dhritiman Sarkar has been given the charge of SP, Bankura.
22. Surindra Singh has been assigned the post of SS, IB.
23. Abhishek Gupta has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Combat Battalion, Kolkata.
24. Pratiksha Jharkhariya has been made DCP, South Zone, Howrah Police Commissionerate.
25. Bidisha Kalita will take over as DCP, Enforcement Branch, KP.
26. Dr Hossain Mehedi will assume the post of SP, Counter Insurgency Force (CIF).
27. Sandeep Karra has been made DCP, Traffic, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate.
28. Dr Sonawane Kildip Suresh gets the post of DCP (Central), Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate (ADCP).
29. Jaspreet Singh will take over as SP, STF, Silliguri.
30. Arish Bilal has been posted as Commandant, State Armed Police (SAP) 4th Battalion.
31. Vidit Raj Bhundesh has been made DCP, North Barrackpore Police Commissionerate.
32. Abhishek Modi has been posted as DCP, West ADPC.
33. Pushpa has been given the post of SRP, Kharagpur.
34. Praween Prakash has been assigned the charge of DCP, Headquarters, Chandannagar PC.
35. Swati Bhangalia has been posted as DCP, South-West (Behala), KP.
36. Priyabrata Roy will take over as DCP, ESD, Kolkata.
37. Ajoy Prasad has been given the post Commandant, SAP, 9th Battalion.
38. Pradeep Kumar Yadav has been made SS, CID.
39. Rahul Goswami has been appointed as SS, CID.
40. Tathagata Basu will take over as SP, WBPRB.
41. Arindham Sarkar will assume the post of DCP, Kolkata Armed Police (KAP), 3rd Battalion.
42. Koteswara Rao Nalavath has been appointed as SP, Headquarters, Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB).
43. Soumyadip Bhattacharya has been made Additional, SP (Headquarters), Darjeeling.
44. Alaknanda Bhowal will take over as Additional SP, Howrah (Rural).
45. Chinmay Mittal will assume the post of Additional SP, Operations, Purulia.
46. Akshat Garg gets the post of Additional SP, Krishnanagar Polic District.
47. Arsh Verma has been appointed as Additional SP, Raiganj Police District.
48. Amit Verma has been made Additional SP, Mathabhanhga.
49. Manav Singla will take up the post of Additional SP (Rural), Purba Medinipur, Headquarters at Conti.
50. Shaw Kumar Amit will assume the post of Additional SP, Malda.
51. Aishwariya Sagar becomes Additional SP (Headquarters), Hooghly (Rural).
52. Palash Chandra Dhali gets the charge of Additional SP, Jalpaiguri.
