The Mamta Banerjee-led Government of West Bengal, on May 24, issued the orders to appoint Sweta Agarwal, an IAS officer of 2016-Batch, as Additional District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur district, West Bengal. Prior to this order, Sweta Agarwal was appointed at the post of Additional District Magistrate, Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal.
