The Assam government, on May 10, issued official orders to appoint Samir Kumar Sinha as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam.
Sinha, the 1994-Batch IAS officer of the Assam cadre, has also been assigned the additional charges of Principal Secretary, Finance Department and Additional Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan, New Delhi.
