
International Solar Alliance (ISA), the first international treaty-based organisation that is headquartered in India, re-elected its co-founders India and France as President and co-president respectively for two years, on October 14.
The ISA also elected presidents and co-presidents for various regions under the alliance. The representatives from Fiji and Nauru were chosen president and co-president for Asia-Pacific region, while Mauritius and Niger have been allotted the charge of Africa region. The UK and the Netherlands will be the president and co-president for Europe, and Cuba and Guyana will be taking up Latin America and the Caribbean region.
