C Parthasarathi becomes State Election Commissioner of Telangana


C Parthasarathi, a former IAS officer, has been newly appointed as the State Election Commissioner of Telangana for a tenure of three years. The Governor of the state Tamilisai Soundararajan issued the appointment orders on September 9, Tuesday.

Earlier, when Telangana was formed, Parthasarathi was made the commissioner for civil supplies for the state and subsequently, he served as commissioner for information and public relations and principal secretary of agriculture and cooperation.
