KSRTC & BMTC resume functions from today

Following the announcements by the Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa on not to extend the lockdown, Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) commences its buses from 6 am to 8 pm from today, July 22.


According to the officials, initially, the transport corporation will operate 1,500 services in the city on major traffic routes, excluding containment zones. However, the services will be increased based on demand.

Apart from BMTC, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) also resumes services from today deploying a limited number of buses to various destinations from the city on-demand basis.
