world’s largest COVID care centre & hospital in Delhi


Anil Baijal, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi inaugurated the world’s largest, Sardar Patels COVID Care Centre and Hospital (SPCCCH). The 10,000 bedded facility is located at Radha Soami Satsang Beas in Chhatarpur area was made operational in the national capital.

The South Delhi District Administration developed the facility on an emergency basis in the Chhatrpur area in Delhi with the support of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in a record time of 10 days.

The SPCCCH has been developed to help the citizens of Delhi and NCR who are affected by the coronavirus. Our team of doctors and medical staffs will take care of this facility. The facility can be a boon for Delhiites and a great enabler for the government to control the pandemic.

Talking about the facilities at the new centre, Baijal said, “We have counsellors for mentally traumatised patients. We have a team of good psychiatrists and specialists in medicine.”


Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also visited the newly built Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel COVID19 Hospital in Delhi Cantonment. Dr Harsh Vardhan, Union Health Minister; Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi; and DRDO Chairman G Satheesh Reddy were also present at the occasion.
