Amidst a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has transferred 20 IAS officers with immediate effect.

1. Ram Subhag Singh (1987-Batch IAS) has bee transferred as Additional Chief Secretary (MPP & Power and NCES and Industries) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. Singh will continue to hold the additional charge of Chairman, HP State Electricity Board Ltd. Shimla.

2. Nisha Singh (1987-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Advisor (Health) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh at New Delhi and Additional Chief Secretary (Social Justice and Empowerment, Printing and Stationery, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

   
   

3. Sanjay Gupta (1988-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Additional Chief Secretary
   (Forests), Government of Himachal Pradesh.

4. Manoj Kumar (1988-Batch IAS) has been appointed as the Advisor (Industries) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh at New Delhi and Additional Chief Secretary (Home & Vigilance and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

   
   

5. RD Dhiman (1988-Batch IAS) has been transferred as Additional Chief Secretary (Health & Family Welfare, Personnel and Language, Art & Culture) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

6. Kamlesh Kumar (1993-Batch IAS) has been given the charge of Principal Secretary (Transport, Technical Education, Labour & Employment) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. Kumar will also hold the additional charge of Financial Commissioner (Appeals) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and MD, Rapid Transport System Development Corporation, Shimla.

7. Rajneesh (1997-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Secretary (Environment, Science & Technology and Information Technology) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. However, he will continue to hold the additional charge of Secretary (Urban Development and Town & Country Planning) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla and Chairman, HP State Pollution Control Board, Shimla.

8. Devesh Kumar (1998-Batch IAS) is now appointed as Secretary to Chief Minister, HP. Also, he will hold the charge of Secretary (Tourism & Civil Aviation, SAD, GAD, Sainik Welfare and Parliamentary Affairs) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

9.  Dr Sandeep Bhatnagar (2001-Batch IAS) is given the charge of Secretary (Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Training and Foreign Assignments, Administrative Reforms and RPG) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla,

10. Akshay Sood (2002-Batch IAS) who is currently the Secretary (Finance, Planning, Economics & Statistics, Cooperation and Housing) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. He also holds the additional charge of CEO, HIMUDA, Shimla. Following the recent orders, Sood has been given the additional charge of Secretary (Ayurveda) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

11. GK Srivastava (2002-Batch IAS) has been appointed as the Secretary to the Governor, HP, Shimla. He will also hold an additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Shimla.

12. Vikas Labroo (2003-Batch IAS), the present Divisional Commissioner, Mandi has been given the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Kangra.

13. Rajeev Sharma (2004-Batch IAS) has been appointed as Secretary (Education) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

14. Amitabh Avasthi (2004-Batch IAS) has been transferred as Secretary (Horticulture, Youth Services & Sports and Jal Shakti Vibhag) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

15. Rakesh Kanwar (2007-Batch IAS) has been transferred as MD, HP Power Corporation Ltd., Shimla. Moreover, Kanwar will continue to hold the additional charge of State Project Director, Zero Budget Natural Farming under the Department of Agriculture, Himachal Pradesh.

16. Rohan Chand Thakur (2009-Batch IAS) has been posted as Director, Town & Country Planning, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

17. Dorje Chhering Negi (2011-Batch IAS) has been posted as Special Secretary (Excise & Taxation and Agriculture) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Negi will continue to hold the additional charge of MD, HP State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd. Shimla.

18. Debasweta Banik (2013-Batch IAS) has been allocated the additional charge of MD, HP AgroIndusrial Packaging India Ltd. and HP Agro Industries Corporation Ltd., Shimla. She is presently holding the position of MD, HPMC, Shimla and the additional charge of Project Director, HP Horticulture Development Society, Shimla.

19. Hemraj Bairwa (2013-Batch IAS) has been given the additional charge of Director, Youth Services and Sports, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla. Bairwa, at present, holds the charge of Special Secretary (MPP & Power and NCES) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.

20. Ashutosh Garg (2014-Batch IAS) has been given the additional charge of Director, Information Technology, Himachal Pradesh Shimla.
