Eight areas, earlier marked as ‘containment zones’ of COVID-19 and were sealed for days, under the jurisdiction of Gautam Budh Nagar and Gurugram administrations have now been out of the red list and restrictions have been lifted from these areas.
Sectors 30, 41 and two residential societies in Sectors 78 and 100 of Noida are no longer in the list of the containment zones. However, on the other hand, seven new areas have been marked as containment zones. These include 14th Avenue Gaur City, Shatabdi Rail Vihar in Sector 62, Eta 1 Greater Noida, Sector 50, Eldeco Utopia Sector 93A, Silver City Pi 2 and Kulsera Village in Greater Noida.
Under the Gurugram administration, Nirvana Country, Emaar Palm Gardens, Palam Vihar, and Laburnum Society are the areas freed from the tag of containment zones. Whereas, Sun City, Sector 39, Devi Lal Colony, Fazilpur Jharsa village, Pataudi’s ward 11, and Raipur village in Sohna continue to be containment zones. However, no new COVID-19 positive case has surfaced in Gurugram from the past six days.
