
Rohit Yadav, 2002-Batch officer has appointed as the new Joint Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). The official appointment order was issued on February 24.
Yadav earlier held the position of Joint Secretary, Ministry of Steel since 2019. Earlier in 2017, Yadav was sent on a central deputation as Principal Secretary to Union Minister Suresh Prabhu for a tenure of two years.
In his early years of service he has successfully held the position of collector of several districts including Raipur, Surguja.
Moreover, MM Kutty (1985-Batch) the present Secretary to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has been given the additional charge of Secretary to Ministry of Steel.
