Chhattisgarh Government transfers IAS and IFS officers in minor rejig

The Government of Chhattisgarh led by Bhupesh Baghel has transferred two IAS and one IFS officer in a minor rejig. The transferred officers include Himshikhar Gupta, Pushpendra Kumar Meena, and Vivek Acharya.

Himshikhar Gupta, Director, Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, Raipur has been given temporary charge of Registrar, Co-operative Societies. The 2007-Batch will continue to hold the additional charge of Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration Director.

Gupta would take over the post of Registrar, Co-operative Societies from Dhananjay Devangan (2004-Batch). Devangan is holding the post of Secretary, Agriculture Department and was additionally holding the post of Registrar.

Pushpendra Kumar Meena, a 2012-Batch officer, who is currently holding the post of Director, Technical Education and additional charge as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chhattisgarh State Skill Development Authority (CSSDA). He will also hold the additional charge as Director, Directorate of Employment and Training.

Vivek Acharya, Director, Directorate of Employment and Training has been retransferred to the Forest Department.
