Amidst the recent bureaucratic rejig in Rajasthan, Ujjwal Rathore has been posted as the Director and Ex-officio Joint Secretary, Local Self Government.
Rathore, the 2008-Batch officer is at present the Secretary, Urban Improvement Trust. Prior to that, he held the post of Additional Commissioner, Jaipur Development Authority.
Hailing from Sirohi, Rajasthan, Rathore has earlier held posts such as Secretary, Ajmer Development Authority; Joint Secretary, Gramin Vikas, Jaipur; Joint Secretary, Urban Development, Jaipur; Secretary, Urban Improvement Trust, Udaipur; Additional Director, Ayurved, Ajmer; Additional Collector & Additional District Magistrate, Bhilwara among others.

The other officers who have received transfer orders are Vikas Sitaramji Bhale, Mugdha Sinha, Siddharth Mahajan, Dr. Samit Sharma, Dr. Om Prakash, Virendra Singh, Pawan Arora, Bhawani Singh Detha, and Ngikya Gohain.
