Kamal Preet appointed Conservator of Forests at NCT Delhi

IFS Kamal Preet has been appointed as Conservator of Forests in National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.

The 1997-Batch officer of the Arunachal-Goa-Mizoram-UTs (AGMUT) cadre is at present the Conservator of Forests at the regional office of Dehradun.

She was appointed in this post in 2017 and her tenure is due to expire in April 2019.

Kamal Preet has earlier served in the posts of Additional Director General (Education & Recruitment board), Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) Dehradun; General Manager at Andaman & Nicobar Islands Forest and Plantation Development Corporation Limited (ANIFPDCL), Port Blair; Deputy Conservator of Forest (DCF), Department of Environment & Forests, Andaman & Nicobar islands; DCF, Department of Forests & Wildlife, Delhi; Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Department of Environment & Forest, Arunachal Pradesh among others.

Kamal Preet pursued M.Phil in Botany prior to joining the Indian Forest Services.
