A SaaS customer engagement automation provider Verloop has announced raising $3 million Series A funding. The funding is led by IDFC Parampara Fund, which invests in technology IP and innovation themed startups.
Other investors include Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys and Dr Ranjan Pai , Chairman of the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG).
The startup plans to send this funding to enhance its customer engagement platform and is also planning to expand its global reach.
Verloop is promoted by GrowthStory, the venture-builder platform founded by serial entrepreneurs K Ganesh and Meena Ganesh.

Verloop has been able to process more than 120 million unique conversations have been processed since Verloop launched operations in late 2016.
The same platform was utilised in the making of Tamil film Kaala.
