Driven by Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s endeavour to present a new definition of India before the world, efforts are on to develop 109 smart cities by making them citizen-friendly and sustainable. Our latest issue throws light on one of these states of Chhanisgarh.

With this State captivating a lot of attention for its move to transform under Smart Cities Mission, eGov’s latest issue has tried to capture and explore how the state is witnessing the big transformation in various dimensions.

We have also carried viewpoints of many stakeholders linked to the Smart Cities Mission in the state, throwing light on their approach, vision and challenges in ensuring the big dream get realised.

Our special feature “Singapore Beckons the World, Redefining Sustainable Living”, is a narrative on Singapore and its journey of setting up a new benchmark in providing a safe and stable habitat, which is way progressive than the concept of “Smart City“.

Taking forward the Chhattisgarh Government’s initiative of converting Raipur into a Smart City, Elets Technomedia Pvt Ltd has extended its support in realisation of this dream into reality. With this aim Elets and Raipur Municipal Corporation have joined hands to organise a three-day long ‘Raipur Smart City Summit‘ in the heart of the capital city.
